After Care

This tattoo is YOUR INVESTMENT. We encourage you to take great care of it! When you get the tattoo, you will recieve specific verbal and printed tattoo aftercare papers.

Within 3 days of the tattoo:

Follow your tattoo artist's advice the best you can
Sleep well
Eat well
Stay hydrated
Take great care of your immune system (your white blood cells hold that ink!)
Do not exercise or sweat profusely
Stay away from contaminants

Within 3 weeks of the tattoo:

Minimize physical labor
DO NOT expose your tattoo to the sun
DO NOT submerge under a body of water: pool, lake, bath, ocean, etc.
DO NOT scratch, pick, or slap
LESS IS MORE: The less you touch, aggravate, moisturize, expose your tattoo, the better it will heal. Treat it like a baby and let your body do its work.

After your tattoo is healed:

Minimize sun exposure with avoidance or sunscreen
Continue to care for your body with appropriate nutrients
Stay hydrated
Moisturize as is best for your skin-type
At this time, you can reach out for touch-ups
Contact your artist with healed pictures, or come in for them to see it!
